What the hell indeed. Sometimes, it seems as if bad luck follows Avril Lavigne around like that black cloud follows Eeyore on 'Winnie the Pooh.' From battles with her former record label to getting bum-rushed onstage, Lavigne encountered plenty of struggles in 2011. The most memorable of these unlucky occurrences? That would be when Lavigne and her boyfriend Brody Jenner were involved in a supposed random act of violence when the couple was attacked by five people at a bar. According to the songstress herself, Lavigne was left with a "black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts." Friday the 13th better not have any unhappy (or painful) surprises in store for Ms. Lavigne! Girl's been through enough already!
