Subscribe to PopCrush on

We just found the track to get your party started this weekend, Glamberts: Avicii‘s new song featuring Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers!

The Swedish DJ is joined by Adam and veteran producer Rodgers on the catchy disco tune ‘Lay Me Down.’ Lambert’s soaring vocals and Rodgers’ funky guitar work are mixed over a propulsive beat guaranteed to get every last person on the dance floor.

The song will appear on the ‘Wake Me Up‘ hit-maker’s debut album, ‘True,’ dropping Tuesday. The disc’s 10 tunes are streaming now on Spotify, along with a pair of bonus tracks. Other collaborators on ‘True’ include Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons.

You all know Adam, of course, but Rodgers has a long list of accomplishments since his days playing with Chic in the 1970s — most recently a massive worldwide success assisting Daft Punk on ‘Get Lucky.’ Early buzz on this latest track suggests that his hit streak is continuing!
