Barbara Palvin Is a Justin Bieber Fan Just Like the Rest of Us

Barbara Palvin might be the most discriminated against Belieber there is. She is a Justin Bieber fan and wanted to meet the singer, but what did she get for her fandom? The Victoria’s Secret model was accused of being the reason that Biebs and longtime girlfriend Selena Gomez broke up!

At this point, Palvin’s name and face are recognizable in the Bieberverse, given her associations. But in a exclusive interview with Celebuzz, Palvin comes clean and acknowledges the drama that ensued because she and Biebs took a photo together. Further gossip spiraled out of control, simply because the Biebs came to the rescue regarding ‘The Lion King.’ Yes, ‘The Lion King.’

So the first rule in the Biebera saga is that there is no Biebera. She just wanted to meet the kid, especially after seeing ‘Never Say Never.’ She has always maintained that they are merely friends.

“I wanted to meet him real bad,” she said. “I watched his movie and I was like, ‘He’s such a cool kid, I want to meet him.’ And then when I did at the [Victoria’s Secret] show we met and of course we had a conversation, and then I took the picture with him.”

The picture sparked some chatter, and then when they saw ‘The Lion King’ on Broadway, people assumed it was a date. Palvin insists it was not.

“It was my sister’s first time in New York and we so wanted to go to Broadway, but there were no more tickets,” she explained. “I just came up and was telling him, ‘My sister is here, but she’s sad because we can’t go to Broadway, no more tickets.’ And he was like, ‘Well, I can get you one.’ And his friends came … like six people and then me, my sister and agent. So friends.”

See, the Biebs can get anything he wants, at any time, and he hooked up Palvin’s sis. That’s called swag, swag, swag. It was a bro move, a gentleman’s move. However, if Biebs was trying to score points, that’s the way to do it.

Babs admitted that the story caught fire after Sel retweeted the photo of her with the Biebs and a male friend with a “…” caption, leading to speculation that Sel was not stoked. “I’m okay to talk about it because I know there’s nothing. It’s ridiculous how this got to the news,” Palvin said. Maybe that’s what she and Sel were discussing at the Globes afterparty?

And  BTW, Babs, anything the Biebs does is news.

“That was it … that’s why it was so weird. They thought I caused a big drama, their breakup,” Palvin said, referencing Beliebers.

So there you have it, from Barbara Palvin’s mouth. She is just a Belieber and they are friends and nothing more.

The question remains: Do you believe her?
