Beastie Boys Release 30-Second Preview of ‘Make Some Noise’ Single

The Beastie Boys have offered a 30-second teaser of their energetic new song 'Make Some Noise,' which will be officially released on April 7.

Based on the short snippet, it appears that the Beasties' first single from 'Hot Sauce Committee Part 2' does indeed make plenty of noise. Hard-hitting drums and a funky groove provide the instrumental highlights while the Beasties offer clever rhymes:

"Get paid every year like tax collection / Hear my perfection, rotary connection / Takin' MCs down by lethal rap injection."

'Hot Sauce Committee Part 2,' set for a May 3 release, will be the Beasties' first studio album since the instrumental 'The Mix-Up' in 2007. Their last rap album was 'To the 5 Boroughs' in 2004.
