Joining the Beyhive: Now scientifically proven to help save the world.

Beyoncé, who announced a brand new world tour during last night's (February 7) Super Bowl 50 celebrations, is encouraging fans to help recovery efforts surrounding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan via ticket sales. According to Live Nation, the new #BeyGOOD initiative will allow fans to directly support the United Way of Genesee County, which has supported residents of the area by providing filtration pitchers, faucet mount filters and fresh, uncontaminated water.

Fans can get more information on Flint support efforts by following @BeyGood. The Formation World Tour also aims to support the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, which will establish a plan for "long-term developmental, education, nutrition and health needs," for children affected by the water crisis.

The Flint water crisis began in 2014, when aging, corroded pipes began to leach excess amounts of lead into the area's water supply, leading to nearly 100 cases of Legionnaires' disease. The contamination is also likely to lead to serious health complications for some of the thousands of children who have been exposed.

The Formation World Tour — Beyonce's first solo headlining tour since 2013 — will kick off in April in Miami before wrapping up in Brussels in July. Tickets will go on sale on February 16 in North America.
