Beyonce can't be in Wales on Oct. 8 for Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert, but organizers have announced that the A-list diva will beam in via satellite with her own special tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

"A unique, never-before-seen performance by Beyonce of one of her favorite Jackson 5 songs will be shown at the concert on October 8th!," organizers wrote on the event's Facebook wall.

It was not clear from the announcement whether Beyonce will be singing live via satellite or if fans will simply be shown a taped performance. Billboard noted that Bey performed the Jackson 5 song 'I Wanna Be Where You Are' last week during one of her intimate New York City gigs and speculated that might be the clip shown during the tribute.

Beyonce has called MJ "my hero" and began dedicating performances of her smash hit 'Halo' to the King of Pop after his death in 2009. She joins previously announced 'Michael Forever' tribute performers Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, Craig David and Alien Ant Farm. The event takes place at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday, Oct. 8.
