Beyonce, who is known for being notoriously selective when it comes to media interviews, sat down with CBS for a special TV feature in which the music diva and the team behind her unforgettable 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome reflected on the performance of a lifetime.

On Saturday, the network aired the 11-minute special featuring behind-the-scenes footage from Beyonce's fierce New Orleans Super Bowl XLVII performance, as well as a number of interviews about the show, including a rare interview with Queen Bey herself.

"It’s one of those magical performances you can’t recreate," Beyonce shared during the segment, adding, "I wanted it to be something iconic and something that people would never forget... It’s always important for me to be a strong woman. There haven’t been that many women that have done Super Bowl halftime shows. I had to hold it down for the ladies."

The show, which included performances of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love," "Single Ladies," and "Halo," as well as Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" and "Independent Woman," has indeed become iconic over the past few years

The music star will once again grace the Super Bowl Halftime Stage this year on Sunday February 7 when she makes a cameo alongside Coldplay during their Halftime Show performance. She and the band collaborated last year on Coldplay's album, A Head Full of Dreams. The album track and single "Hymn for the Weekend" features vocals from Beyonce.
