Britney Spears on Staying Healthy in 2012
It’s been almost a week since the ball dropped, and while many of us have already ditched our resolutions, Britney is putting us to shame.
“I’m very big on being healthy and working out three times a week,” the ‘Til the World Ends’ singer said, adding that she goes to sleep early and drinks lots of water to stay hydrated. For Brit, staying in shape is essential. She needs a trim body and great moves for the stage, but she also needs the secret weapon that has made her the Princess of Pop: confidence.
“It takes me an hour-and-a-half to get ready for a red carpet event. I usually take a shower, wash my hair, blow my hair out and have a cup of coffee.” When you keep your health regimen tight like Britney, things become just that simple.
Brit Brit is staying on top of her game in 2012, maintaining the discipline that led up to her Femme Fatale tour last year. Could this be a hint at more to come from her? Now that she’s engaged and loving it, we’ll definitely be seeing more of her, and if the leaked demos from ‘Femme Fatale’ are any indication, we could be hearing more, too.
