Looks like Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj are becoming fast friends in advance of their upcoming summer tour. Spears not only was in the crowd for Minaj's opening-act performance on Lil Wayne's L.A. concert, she attended the afterparty at HYPE nightclub as well.

The new dynamic duo, who kick off their tour June 17 just up the road in Sacramento, were all smiles and expensive haircuts in photos taken at the event. Actually, Spears looked rather demure and wholesome, perhaps knowing better than to try and out-dazzle Minaj, who performed in a dayglo tie-dyed jumpsuit with what looked like a purple matchstick on her head.

They've also taken their new friendship to the recording studio, with Minaj appearing on a remixed version of Spears' single 'Till the Word Ends.' Oh, did we mention Kesha, or as Joel McHale from 'The Soup' refers to her, "Key-dollar-sign-huh?" also appears on this version? Three diva pop stars sounds like overkill but you might find that it's in fact worth hearing.

Spears is touring in support of her new album 'Femme Fatale,' which topped the charts upon it's release by selling over 270,00o copies and has already spawned two hit singles, 'Hold it Against Me' and the aforementioned 'Till the World Ends.'

Minaj, meanwhile, has been working her technicolor butt off ever since the November release of her debut album 'Pink Friday,' which has so far sold over one million copies.
