Famed radio host Casey Kasem, reported missing late last week, has been found.

The radio personality was located in the state of Washington on Tuesday (May 13), to the relief of his three children. His daughter Kerri Kasem was granted conservatorship on Monday (May 12) following a legal battle with her father’s current wife, Jean Kasem. Kerri had previously alleged that Jean’s fear of the legal outcome spurred her to flee with Casey.

The ‘Top 40’ host had been living at a California nursing home, needing care for his dementia, before he went missing on May 6. His current health condition is unknown, but Kerri stressed in a statement released Wednesday night that the family has “grave concerns about his medical care,” according to CNN.

His exact location is still unknown as well. Sheriff’s deputies in the county where Casey was spotted performed a welfare check at a residential home after receiving the address from California Adult Protective Services. Though officials confirmed that Casey and Jean were at the house, they haven’t released the address or further information. They did confirm that Casey was receiving the appropriate care necessary for his condition.

Kerri continued in her statement, “We are grateful to local authorities for finding my dad. We are one step closer to bringing him home.”
