In order to prepare for his role in the upcoming Magic Mike sequel, Channing Tatum had to do more than work out and memorize lines. He was forced to undergo a kind of painful physical activity typically reserved for the women of Hollywood -- he had to have his entire body waxed. Again.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Channing talked about the immensely painful undergoing that is removing body hair at its root, saying, "I waxed last time, and I promised myself I was not gonna do it again. And then Matt Bomer goes, 'No, no, you just didn't have the right lady. She just wasn't doing it right.' And then I went again, and it sucked just as bad."

According to Channing, one reason the waxing was so painful has to do with his hair color. He said, "After they started, they said, 'Oh, you're ginger' -- I have a little red in there -- and they were like, 'It's always the worst for them.' And I'm like, 'Then why did you start? Why didn't you tell me this beforehand!?'"

Don't worry, Channing, we more than understand the pain that comes with waxing. Count your lucky stars you don't have to do it every four-to-six-weeks come swimsuit season. Check out the video of Channing recalling his traumatizing experience above!
