We've got Christina Aguilera's judging style figured out just two weeks into 'The Voice.' Simply put, if you hit and hold a high note or engage in any kind of octave-shifting dramatics, there's a strong chance she'll pick you.

The majority of the time Aguilera pushed her button this week, it was because some singer had just hit some emotional crescendo, frequently on the second time through the chorus. We don't mean to say she wasn't keeping track of the full range of a singer's capabilities, because she had intelligent notes about many of the performers. Still, what got her hand on that button -- in accordance with the rules of the show -- more often than not was good old vocal firepower.

She may have found a ringer right out of the gate. Cherie Oakley, whose performance of Miranda Lambert's 'Gundpowder and Lead' opened the show, has been a backup singer for country stars Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson, and apparently co-wrote Reba McEntire's recent smash 'Turn On the Radio.' Adam Levine accused her of over-singing, but Aguilera liked what she heard enough to be the only coach to turn around.

Aguilera then snagged the youngest contestant on the show, 16 (!) year old Raquel Castro, who overcame some nerves to deliver a solid performance of Leona Lewis' 'Bleeding Love.' "Great things come in small packages!" Aguilera exclaimed. "You're freaking cute, and I'm really lucky to have you."

When soccer enthusiast Julia Eason revealed that one of her favorite stars was, get ready, Christina Aguilera, it seemed pretty obvious which coach would get Eason if there was a competition.  Sure enough, after a run through Duffy's 'Mercy,' both Cee Lo Green and Xtina turned around, but once she heard that her idol thought she was "soulful" it was all over.

We only got a brief look at her fourth choice for the night, Justin Grennan, who sang 'Drops of Jupiter' by Train in a brief clip montage shown in between full performances. That left Aguilera with just one spot to fill, and she did it quickly in the "second chance" round for previously unpicked contestants, choosing Lily Elise, who were were seeing for the first time, and who sang 'If I Ain't Got You' by Alicia Keys.

With her team assembled, Christina had a little fun tormenting Levine over his remaining two picks, and now has to prepare for next week's "Battle Round," where she'll pit her team members against each other and then be forced to send somebody home in order to strengthen her roster. Stay tuned!
