With Bruno Mars taking some extra time to finish up the 'It Will Rain' video that was supposed to premiere yesterday, Christina Perri gets to be the first artist to debut a video from the 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' soundtrack.'

Perri's 'A Thousand Years' hit the web Wednesday (Oct. 26). It shows the 'Jar of Hearts' singer walking in slow-motion with a candle in her hands as she sings, "Heart beats fast / Colors and promises / How to be brave / How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?"

Scenes from Bella and Edward's wedding are cut with shots of Perri in a dark room surrounded by hundreds of candles. It's an emotional video that tugs at the heartstrings, especially when movie scenes of the couple are shown as Perri sings, "I have loved you for a thousand years." The clip concludes with a silhouette of Perri looking out onto a sunset.

Perri told The Hollywood Reporter she wrote the song after watching an advance screening of the film: "I cried the whole time, then I went home and wrote the song about Edward and Bella and their love affair. It's probably the most romantic, lovey-dovey song I've ever written."
