Pusha T – 2013 Coachella Must-See Artists

It’s hard to believe Pusha T still hasn’t released a solo album. He’s got some mixtapes, EPs, and collaborative efforts, but the 35-year-old rhyme-slinger won’t be dropping his official debut, ‘My Name Is My Name,’ until May 2013.

Pusha T has been working with The-Dream, Pharrell Williams, Just Blaze, and other A-list producers on ‘My Name Is My Name.’ He says of the record, "I speak about the harsh realities of street life, but there’s a lot of glitz and glamour that comes along with that."

In addition to his upcoming solo release, Pusha has already logged time in the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 with a pair of Kanye West team-ups, ‘Mercy’ and ‘Runaway.’ He's one of the biggest hip-hop names on the Coachella 2013 lineup, along with his G.O.O.D. Music collaborator 2 Chainz.

Pusha performs on both Saturdays, April 13 and 20, so be sure to catch his set for a sampling of new material.
