Deadmau5 – 2013 Ultra Music Festival Must-See Artists

Deadmau5 may sarcastically describe EDM as “Event Driven Marketing,” but even if he hates the media hype surrounding his chosen style of music, he remains one of the electronic artists most likely to attract new fans to the genre.

His popular set at Lollapalooza 2011, when he was a headliner alongside giants like Eminem, Coldplay and Foo Fighters, proved that electronic music was here to stay as a dominant musical force.

Though the man born Joel Zimmerman is becoming more recognizable without his famous mouse ears, thanks in part to the media coverage surrounding his engagement to Kat Von D, he still dons the ears in concert and delivers one of the most exciting sets in electronic music.
