It's no secret that Beyonce is as close as humanity gets to perfection, and she demands the same level of perfection from her own work. That may be why rumors are swirling that she scrapped her entire album!

Diplo, who worked with Queen Bey on 'Run the World (Girls),' revealed that the album, which was initially expected to be released this spring, may never see the light of day -- at least not in its current form.

"I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried," Diplo revealed to The Sun. "I think she scrapped the record. The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand new ideas. I like to work from scratch, [but] sometimes I get called in to fix records."

In March, Ne-Yo, who also collaborated with Beyonce on what would have been 'Mrs. Carter,' confirmed that a leaked tracklisting was real -- and now none of those tracks may be included on the record.

“I've heard some songs from the album so I knew what direction I should be going in,” he said at the time. “The last thing you want to do is write a song that makes no sense with the direction of the album, so she let me hear some stuff so I knew where to aim.”

Still, Ne-Yo was careful to add, “I mean you never really can tell until the album comes out.”

Here's hoping it comes out sooner than later!
