Yo, Chris Brown! Drake wants a cease fire in your feud. He even says so in his GQ cover story. That's why he is a gentleman.

Yeah, that's some generosity right there. Drake is using his magazine cover to put an end to their epic beefage. Sort of.

A year ago, the rapper and R&B singer's respective crews engaged in a time-stopping battle bottle in NYC. It was so cray cray that we're still talking about it. The hatchet has never been buried.

But Drake is reaching out via the GQ pages.

Drizzy, who doesn't care that other rappers be hatin' on him since "they don't criticize the music itself," revealed he doesn't want to be forever linked to Breezy and wishes they could man up to shut it down.

"I hear he has everything he could want now," Drizzy said in what feels like it could have been a loose reference to Rihanna, who was their bone of contention. "I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don't. I wish we could sit down just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man."

Still, the rapper is realistic. "But that’s not going to happen," he admitted. "I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I'm not going to back down. If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly…Like, it gets really dark." Yikes.

Breezy needn't worry that Drizzy is trying to make another play for his on-off paramour RiRi, either. We'll call her Rizzy for sake of nickname continuity. As it turns out, Drake is somewhat abstinent.

"You know the way fighters don’t f--- before the fight?," he asked. "Sometimes I feel like I’m so focused on training my body and getting my mind right to create this album that sex isn’t one of my main priorities. If someone is around that I know and trust, I’m down. But I’m not going to end up with some stranger at this party."

Drake's take on love is that he's not sure he's ever been in it. "[Will Smith said] It’s not about wanting anymore, you need that person. Hearing that, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that way," Drizzy pointed out. "I've made a lot of music about love being the only thing I’m missing. I think this is the first album I’ve made saying, 'I’m okay, I’m enjoying it right now.' Maybe this is my time to grind it out, make a run for it, and add some memories with my boys."

Drizzy also shared a tidbit about his upcoming third album 'Nothing Was the Same," saying, "This is my f---ing moment to say if I wanted to rap all the time, really rap, I would, but I also love to make music. I'll do this for you right now. But it’s for me, too. It’s my story…I’m trying to get back to that kid in the basement. To say what he has to say. And I’m trying to make it last."

Drake has a lot to say and he looks good while doing it.

So Breezy, would you take him up on his offer to sit down and end this beefery once and for all?
