Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane Hansen Sings to Dying Great-Grandmother

Harmonizers, this is one hell of an emotional post.

In a series of heartbreaking Instagram posts, Fifth Harmony singer Dinah Jane Hansen's mom, Milika Amasio, shared the news that Dinah's great-grandmother was dying. Even more emotional still, Milika shared a photo and a video of Dinah Jane singing to her great-grandmother in the hospital as tears streamed down her face. The touching video is a beautifully poignant moment for Dinah Jane's family.

"My grandmother Sepi is dying.. It's just a matter of time. But I am so thankful that we were able to have her for the last 80 years!" Dinah Jane's mom captioned a photo of the 5H singer and her great-grandmother. "She is the heart of our family! A loving, hard working, and a giving person. She has a heart of gold and a smile that will light up a room! We love you so much grandma." You can see the sweet photo below.

Almost immediately after Milika Instagrammed the images, Harmonizers rallied around the Hansen family and began trending "#WeAreHereForYouDinahJane" on Twitter, sharing messages of strength and support during this difficult time.

After seeing the trending topic and the countless messages from fans, Dinah Jane tweeted on Wednesday morning (April 29), thanking Harmonizers for their support and seemingly confirming that her great-grandma had passed away:
