Fifth Harmony are reaching out to their transgender fans by lending their support to the entire community and encouraging people to love themselves and be proud of who they are.

In an interview with MTV, the girls spoke about a fan they met named Camila Joe, who was inspired to transition after meeting Camila Cabello at an earlier date. She even renamed herself after Cabello, which had a huge impact on all of the girls. Cabello said, "I saw [Camila Joe] and she was just so beautiful and there was such a light about her, and I could tell because we had met her before, like two years ago when her name was Joe. And I remembered meeting her then and just seeing the transformation in her face and the light of her eyes. She was so confident and radiant...It was awesome."

Cabello went on to talk about how much Camila Joe's story has inspired other transgender fans. She said, "Lately, we've been getting a lot of response from the transgender community and being like 'Hey, you inspired me too and you helped me out.' So I think it's important to spread that awareness with how supportive we are of that community and we're there for them."

Lauren had similar things to say, "For us, that's such an amazing thing. The number one thing that we try to promote is to be who you are and to love who you are no matter what that means. We supoprt that in every aspect of the meaning. I get chills thinking about us helping people become who they are."

Normani also chimed in, saying, "The fact that we're able to inspire people with doing what we love is incredible...To be able to have, you know, the platform that we do have we want to just use it for the better and really help change the world for good."
