Florence Welch recently teamed up with Mark Ronson on a cover of Kelly Clarkson's smash single, 'Since U Been Gone.' The duo performed an exclusive set backstage at the 02 Arena for Diesel:U:Music Radio, which included the 2004 song from Clarkson's sophomore album, 'Breakaway.' Ronson provided the acoustic guitar accompaniment, while Welch belted out the popular number.

The 'What the Water Gave Me' singer put her indie rock spin on the chart-topper, and did her best to hit Clarkson's high notes. While the performance wasn't completely flawless, it was still a great treat for die-hard fans.

This isn't the first time Welch has taken on other artists' hits. She covered Beyonce's 'Halo' for BBC's Radio 1; recorded 'Not Fade Away' for the tribute album 'Rave On Buddy Holly'; and has been known to perform a live rendition of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 'Maps.'

Florence + the Machine were nominated for Best New Artist at the 2011 Grammys, and are set to release their sophomore album, 'Ceremonials,' on Oct. 31. The lead single for the album, 'Shake It Out,' was released in September, and was recently described by Welch as "the ultimate hangover cure." An artsy video for the song premiered on Oct. 3.
