Western pop provided its fair share of girl group triumphs this year thanks to Fifth Harmony and Little Mix, but over on the East, South Korea provided even more sonic fire throughout the year.

Case in point? Girls' Generation and f(x), two of the hottest troupes currently blazing trails in K-Pop.

After kicking off with their sparkly "Party," Girls' Generation brought the end-of-summer heat with their fifth Korean language LP Lion Heart on August 18, featuring smashes like title track "Lion Heart," "You Think" and the Underdogs-produced "Green Light." The album would go on to hit No. 1 on the US Billboard World Albums Chart.

A few months later, and fab foursome f(x) returned after over a year's hiatus on October 27 with their energetic fourth studio album 4 Walls, which also sailed to No. 1 on the US Billboard World Albums Chart, and featured a bunch of storming electro-pop bops, including "Rude Love" and "Deja Vu."

Both troupes managed to smash the charts and pull off killer comebacks in their homeland. But now, we want you to decide: Which troupe ultimately reigns supreme?

Vote between Girls' Generation's Lion Heart and f(x)'s 4 Walls below. The poll will close on November 16 at 5 PM ET. Go, go, go!
