Prepare for the return of the mack — Huey Mack, in fact.

The young West Virginia-bred MC has come a long way in a short time since dropping out of university to pursue his passion for music, hustling his way all the way up to No. 8 on the Billboard Rap Chats with his self-released LP, Pretending Perfection, in 2013.(Not familiar? Two years later, he's gone bigger, holing away in LA to chronicle his independent journey up to now with his upcoming follow-up Things Change with Pretending Perfection producer Louis Bell, Cisco Adler and, surprisingly enough, EDM titan Afrojack on "Funeral" with Twista.

Ahead of the LP's release on June 23, the rapper's issued a brand new single from his new record called "Favorite Song," in which he pleasantly pledges to fu — err, love his girl to the sound of her favorite song all night long. What a good guy!

To make the offer even more enticing, Mack's breezy bop just got a solid new remix by none other than Mr. Cherry Cherry Boom Boom himself, Martin Kierszenbaum — the head of Cherrytree Records who's also had a hand in crafting cuts for Madonna and Lady Gaga — who decided to take on the track for himself, throwing in some funky bass and hard-edged synth lines to the production.

Have a listen to Cherry Cherry Boom Boom's remix of Huey Mack's "Favorite Song" up top — and let us know if it's inspired you to love your lover to their favorite song, too.
