Rapper J. Cole has huge plans for his childhood home, and we have to admit -- we're seriously touched by what he has in store for the house. According to an interview with the Combat Jack Show, J. has decided to open his home to single mothers and their children, where they'll be able to stay, rent-free.

He said (quote via BET), "My goal is to have that be a haven for families. So every two years, a new family will come in. They'll live rent-free. The idea is that it's a single mother with multiple kids, and she's coming from a place where all her kids [are] sharing a room. She gets to come here rent-free. I want her kids to feel how I felt when we got to the house."

According to BET, his decision comes from a time while he was growing up when he and his mother lost their home -- the one he has repurchased and is opening up to less fortunate families. It's an incredibly selfless thing for him to do, and we have to commend him on choosing to make a difference in a way that we haven't seen from a celebrity before. There's no word yet as to when this will come to fruition, but we'll be sure to post the updated news as soon as we get it.
