Jason Derulo has finally found the 'It Girl' of his dreams in his latest single, a catchy pop song with major hit potential.

Even though Derulo's debut produced hits like 'Whatcha Say' and 'In My Head,' 'It Girl' could be his best single to date. He starts by singing about how he's searched all over and finally found the girl he's been waiting for. Then comes the killer hook:

"You could be my it girl / Baby, you're the sh-- girl /Lovin' you could be a crime / Crazy how we fit, girl / This is it, girl / Gimme 25 to life / I just wanna rock all night long and put you in the middle of my spotlight / You could be my it girl / You're my biggest hit, girl / Let me play it loud."

Derulo is so smitten that he swears he loves his girl "much more than a Grammy Award." Just about every element of the song works, from the sweet whistling intro to the acoustic guitar melody to the "oh-oh-oh-oh" vocal chants after the chorus.

Derulo has already given fans a peek into the music video for 'It Girl,' saying, "For the video, I wanted it to be an open book. I wanted it to be almost like a photo album, so every single scene is kind of like a picture that you’re kind of looking into our relationship."

'It Girl' and Derulo's previous single, 'Don't Wanna Go Home,' will appear on his next album, 'Future History,' which is scheduled for a September release. Derulo is up for two trophies at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend, including Male Musical Artist.
