Jennifer Lopez is in talks to star in two major motion pictures, which may be the reason why she's still unsure of whether she'll return as a judge on 'American Idol' next season.

According to Deadline, the 'On the Floor' singer is discussing the possibility of starring opposite Jason Statham in 'Parker,' an adaptation of the Donald Westlake mystery series. Lopez would play Leslie, Parker's love interest. 'Parker' could turn into a multi-film franchise, so landing the role may lead to additional movies for Lopez.

The Bronx beauty is also up for a supporting role in the film adaption of 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.' Lopez, who has had plenty of experience in the romance and comedy genres, would star alongside Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison.

In the meantime, Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are set to launch their new talent show, ‘Q’Viva! The Chosen,’ beginning their talent search in July. The couple will travel across Latin America in search of the “world’s most extraordinary talent.”

Lopez, Anthony and superstar tour manager Jamie King will head to “places people wouldn’t normally look" to discover the next big thing. Lopez says of the project, “It’s probably going to be the biggest thing I’ve been involved in yet.”
