Jennifer Lopez's medley of her hits 'Papi' and 'On the Floor' during Sunday's 2011 American Music Awards easily went down as one of the more entertaining performances of the night. It was also considered to be one of the more talked about performances as well on social outlets such as Twitter.

However, it wasn't her rockin' body, her flawless skin or her gorgeous hair and makeup creating the chatter ... it was the usage of a FIAT (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino) automobile during her performance that had everyone criticizing. Lopez is a spokeswoman for the car company, and the vehicles can also be seen in her 'Papi' video.

Questo of the Roots was still in shock while tweeting: "yo. i know i just didn't see that damb [sic] fiat. i KNOW i didn't just see that friggin FIAT."

Questlove's comments opened the floodgates for others who agreed the car's involvement in the performance was a little over the top.

John Legend, who was at the awards Sunday as a presenter, took to his own Twitter page to voice his thoughts on J. Lo's performance. "That had to be the most shameless thing I've ever seen in a performance," he wrote in reply to Questo's original post. "I was genuinely shocked."

In addition to her performances during the AMA's, Lopez also walked away a winner for Favorite Latin Music Artist.
