The battle for Billboard's No. 1 spot has amounted to a duel between Adele and Justin Bieber in recent weeks, but in February, the dominant pop acts are on the same side.

The 25 singer, the Purpose singer and Coldplay will all serve as featured performers at the 2016 BRIT Awards, the show has announced. Considering Bieber's recent American Music Awards performance, Adele's memorable night in New York City and Coldplay's confirmed Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show slot, we'd say an entertaining evening is pretty much guaranteed.

Adele was announced as the show's first performer earlier this week.

"The BRITs are excited to welcome two of the biggest acts in the world right now to next year’s awards — Coldplay, who are undoubtedly one of our greatest music success stories, and pop sensation Justin Bieber, who will be coming to London for his first ever BRITs performance," BRITs Chairman Max Lousada said in a statement. "Next year’s awards is shaping up to be a fantastic night of British and international music.

The BRITs will film on Wednesday, February 24 at London's O2 Arena and air live on Britain's ITV. Google Play Music will exclusively stream performances immediately after the show, and proceeds from the service will be donated to Nordoff Robbins and The BRIT Trust, which supports youth arts enrichment.

How do you think Justin will do at his very first BRITs? Sound off in the comments!
