Justin Bieber Tweets New Song ‘Happy New Year’ Feat. Jaden Smith

Teenage superstars Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith followed up their hit song ‘Never Say Never’ and their cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinking About You’ by offering their fans a “first listen” to a new song dubbed ‘Happy New Year,’ which The Biebs tweeted last night after midnight. He wrote: “thank you for 2011, lets have a better 2012! #happynewyear” and then treated fans to this sonic present.

It’s a smooth R&B track, where Smith pops off nasally raps while Bieber plays the part of crooner, mixing falsetto with Autotune. That’s where pop music is at in 2012 and look to The Biebs to be a big part of shaping the sound of what you hear on the radio in the next 12 months.

The song burns slow, with Justin offering up a coundown, cooing, “5,4,3,2,1” and then begging, “Kiss me.” It’s their take on kissing at midnight on NYE, it appears! Also, Smith’s adenoidal delivery sounds like Drake.

We are totally loving these Justin/Jaden collabs. More please!
