Pop's crown prince Justin Bieber graces the cover of V, the fashion mag's 75th issue, which is also its music issue. While Sky Ferreira posed as Madonna for a buzzed about spread, it's the Biebs who graces the cover, offering up an intense, masculine stare and a pout while wearing a cage-knit black sweater.

For the cover, which features The Biebs holding his neck and leaning against a superimposed "V," the teen was styled by none other than Nicola Formichetti. That name should sound familiar to pop music watchers, as he is Lady Gaga's stylist. So The Biebs and the Mother Monster do have something in common.

Actually, they have something further in common courtesy of this shoot. Inez & Vinoodh shot the cover and those names should also be familiar to little monsters, as the duo filmed Gaga's 'You & I' fashion videos and also shot her L'Uomo Vogue cover. The Biebs is all grown up and borrowing from one of the most stylish stars on the planet as he transforms from boy to man.

The internal shots position Bieber as a leader, with a golden leaf crown and a gladiator helmet on his head. Heavy is the head that wears the pop music crown, and in these images, The Biebs takes his gig as seriously as a heart attack. Don't the images look like yearbook photos?

The music issue of V lands on stands on Jan. 12 and should be available through March, which marks The Biebs' 18th birthday.
