If dulcet ASMR tones or warm milk can't lull your restless self to sleep, consider Kelly Clarkson's latest live project: her very own lullaby.

Clarkson, who's got her very first soul album in the works as part of a new deal with Atlantic Records, performed her own original lullaby (we...think it's called "Magical Lullaby") today (September 30) on Facebook Live (you can listen here). The song's an audio accompaniment to her brand new book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby that she wrote in honor of her two-year-old daughter. It's due in stores October 4.

"My nanny calls me Mary Poppins when I sing it," Kelly quips in the video before diving into the sweet tune.

"Every night you lie with me, when I wake you're still here / I don't know if I ever could find someone as kind and dear / No one gets me like you do, you can tell by my smile / I'm gonna miss you so much when you sleep / But know that I'm by your side," she croons.

"Do you hear the bird? It's 'cause I was singing. I'm Snow White, y'all," she concludes after the on-the-spot performance.

Clarkson pointed out a studio version of the song is also available now on riverrose.com, where fans can also pre-order the book. And Kel's updated her own site, too — as promised, a brand new month has ushered in a kellyclarksonlive.com update: "Bang Bang" and "We Found Love" covers are now available, as is a set from a 2013 performance with the Boston Pops.

And, if you're ready for more KC charm, she pointed out she's got interviews set up across the next week with Andy Cohen, Ellen Degeneres, The View and Today.

Listen to the very first Kellullaby above and share your thoughts in the comments.
