Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson took the world by storm with her powerhouse vocals as a contestant on the first-ever season of American Idol in 2002. Clarkson went on to win the entire competition, collecting life-long fans with her girl-next-door charm and powerful singing chops. After American Idol, Clarkson dropped her debut album, Thankful, in 2003, which saw a breakout hit in “Miss Independent.” Since then, Clarkson has helped define the possibilities for singing competition show contestants, leading by example with her incredible career evolution. She’s released five albums since Thankful, with the highly anticipated Piece By Piece expected in 2015. Along the way, Clarkson has earned countless awards, including three Grammys for 2006’s “Since U Been Gone,” her 2006 full-length, Breakaway, and 2013's Stronger.
