2012 is proving to be a big year for new albums, as many of pop's leading stars, including Kesha, are laboring in the studio working on new material. When she isn't tweeting about beards or animal rights, Kesha has been utilizing her Twitter account to update fans on the recording process of her upcoming album, including teasing an "epic" new track.

Along with the photo pictures above, Kesha tweeted, "wailing on an EPIC track with @thedoctorluke &@itsbennyblanco THIS is the dawn of a new genre of music: COCK POP!!!"

Now, we're not exactly sure what cock pop is, but the fact that Kesha is teaming up with Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco again can only mean good things. The producers have worked with the 'Sleazy' hitmaker on a number of tracks like 'Tik Tok,' 'Your Love Is My Drug,' and 'We R Who We R,' all of which were Top 5 singles for Kesha ('Tik Tok' and 'We R Who We R' hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, with 'Your Love...' peaking at No. 4).

Kesha has been keeping the studio updates coming -- on March 13, she tweeted, "Another sick session making crazy weird S--- for yall u party to," and on March 10, Kesha wrote, "I'm writing the sickest song yayyyy." It sounds like Kesha's third studio album is shaping up to be one of her most vivacious and fun efforts to date!
