Lady Gaga Has Surgery for Hip Tear
Update time. Lady Gaga was seen wheeling herself around in Emma, her wheelchair, after canceling her Born This Way Ball tour due to a hip injury that rendered her unable to walk. She wasn’t being too forthcoming with info about her condition. She finally broke some of her silence about the matter to tweet the news that she had surgery this morning.
Gaga posted a tweet on Wednesday, Feb. 20, confirming that she was going in to have the problem corrected.
Going in for surgery now. Thank you so much for sending me love and support. I will be dreaming of you.

She is likely on the operating table or coming out of anesthesia as we speak. The pop queen will then embark on a course of recovery, which could keep her off stage for a few months.
We’re sure Gaga will share photos of her healing process and of the post-op period. We’re glad that she is having her hip problem taken care of.
The one good thing fans can take away from the surgery? The sooner she gets things squared away and taken care of, the sooner she will get on stage and entertain us like only she can!
