Lea Michele Talks About Her Own High School Experiences, Nose Job Rumors in Cosmo UK
Lea Michele, aka Rachel on 'Glee' is gracing the cover of the UK edition of Cosmo for the month of June. In the interview, the New Jersey born singer/actress addresses plenty of hot topics, ranging from what she was like during her formative high school years as well as those pesky, won’t-go-away nose job gossip stories! She also talks about her favorite type of low key nights.
"I wasn't a goody-goody," Michele said about her own high school experiences. While she wasn't a teenage dream, she still kept her eyes fixed firmly on the prize, saying, "I loved to have fun. I never did drugs. Acting always came first. I was lucky, because I really believed in who I was."
Michele also knew she wasn't headed for Disney-ville or a role on their 'High School Musical' when she was preparing for her career. "I knew I wasn't going to end up on a Disney half-hour show. I mean, look at me! I do'’t look like those girls. I just wanted to do a guest appearance on something like 'Grey's Anatomy.'" Michele did end up doing a high school musical, but of a different sort, obviously.
The 'Glee' queen admits "of course I thought about it" when it comes to nose jobs, but she never took the rhinoplasty plunge, saying, "I'm sooo thankful that I didn't."
With her crazy busy life as a lead cast member on the hottest show on TV, Michele likes to wind down in as simple way, saying that her perfect night plays out like this: "Take a shower, put on a bathrobe, pour myself a glass of wine and Skype with Theo [Stockman]. That’s the best."
Ah, the simple things in life.
