Lena Dunham Shows Off New Platinum Blond Bowl Cut Look [PHOTO]

Lena Dunham is hardly recognizable in her newest Instagram photo!

The 'Girls' creator and star showed off her new platinum blond hair color, along with a bowl cut style, in a picture posted on Friday. Dunham also writes "change is good" in the caption accompanying the picture.

Early on Sunday, Dunham got her new hair wet when she took an opportunity to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after Taylor Swift challenged her to do so in her own Instagram video. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has become a viral social media hit, in which people challenge their friends to either record a video of themselves pouring a bucket of ice water on themselves, or donate $100 to ALS research. TIME reported this week that 1.2 million unique videos of people pouring ice water on themselves have been uploaded to Facebook so far.

Dunham is currently working on a fourth season of 'Girls' which will air on HBO in 2015.
