Get weird excited, Mixers! Little Mix have shared that work on the group's fourth, as-yet-untitled studio album is officially underway.

The British girl group's latest record, Get Weird, was only released on November 6, 2015, but since a few months in the music industry is practically a decade these days, the foursome have already moved onto LM4.

Appearing on Ireland's Red FM radio show, Perrie Edwards told the host that she and her group members have started writing and recording for the next release, gushing, "Oh my gosh, yes, we are [working on it]! And I've never felt more excited, I absolutely love it."

But just how far along in the process are Little Mix? No more than a "few songs," it would seem — and no, there's no release date to look forward to as of yet.

"There's a few songs we have already which I haven't stopped listening to," Edwards added, promising something incredible around the bend. "Everyone be prepared, because it's amazing!"

While it may be a while until the girls of Little Mix are able to offer solid LM4 details, it's likely that the former X Factor winners will have another hit on their hands when it does drop. They have a pretty good track record, after all: Get Weird peaked at No. 2 on the U.K. Albums Chart last year, and even reached the Top 20 in the United States — no small feat for a non-American act.

Their other two albums, 2012's DNA and 2013's Salute, also debuted in the top 15 of the Billboard 200 Chart alongside their third record, which has been their best-selling thus far.
