Poor Miley Cyrus! The ‘Bangerz’ singer had a huge scare yesterday (Nov. 22) when her home was burglarized. What happened?

Thankfully, Cyrus wasn’t home at the time of the break in — no one was, so no one was hurt. (Phew!) Us Weekly reports that the burglary probably occurred during the afternoon hours, and that personal property belonging to the singer was stolen.

“She’s extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen,” a source said. “She’s really shaken up about the whole thing.” Understandably!

Since there were no known witnesses and no known injuries, the investigation is ongoing — but will probably be a tough one to pin down. It’s not the first time Cyrus has had unwelcome visitors on her property. A stalker previously came holding scissors, and her mansion has been swatted by pranksters in the past.

We hope the rest of Cyrus’ birthday fares better!
