That was quick! After a short and highly limited theatrical run, Miley Cyrus' latest movie, 'LOL,' will be released on DVD next month.

'LOL,' which costars Demi Moore, features Cyrus as a teen going through some issues with sex, drugs, drinking and generally growing up. It's her edgiest film role yet to date.

Unfortunately, it was also her least lucrative. Only released in 105 theaters, 'LOL' was considered a box office bomb. It's speculated that heavy spending and promo for 'The Hunger Games' (which starred Cyrus' boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth) was behind the studio's decision not to heavily promote the film, so it's a bit unfair to chalk it up only to Cyrus' allegedly fading star power (after all, we are writing about her right now). The limited release likely also limited fans' ability to get to see the film at all.

To add insult to injury, Lionsgate released the movie on May 4, competing with record-shattering juggernaut 'The Avengers' on its opening weekend, effectively dooming the movie to be D.O.A.

Hollywood Life reports that 'LOL' will be available on July 31 on DVD and Blu-Ray, complete with special features including audio commentary and behind-the-scenes featurettes.

In what may be brighter news for the starlet's acting career, Cyrus' next movie, 'So Undercover,' his screens on June 27. The Daily Mail reports that Cyrus learned a bit of hand-to-hand combat for the role, in which she plays an FBI agent. "I've been doing fighting, like learning how to box," she said. "I have a trainer and I have bruises everywhere from, like, kicking the bags ... and I've learned how to use guns, which was really scary."
