Miranda Cosgrove has hit a crossroad in her life, but the 17-year-old is handling it like a true professional. Hollywood Life is reporting that the Nickelodeon starlet and 'Dancing Crazy' singer will be putting college on hold in order to continue production on her hit show, 'iCarly.'

Like her character from 'School of Rock,' Cosgrove is a smarty. The California girl has already been accepted to the University of Southern California, and also to New York University. In addition to USC and NYU, Cosgrove is also waiting to hear back from Yale University, University of California-Berkeley, and Brown University.

Cosgrove seemed ecstatic about her acceptance, exclaiming to Celebuzz, "I just found out I got into NYU and USC! It's cool ... I would love to go to one for two years then the other for two years. I feel like they are both so great."

Last month, Cosgrove also stated in an interview that she, like many other people her age, was struggling with making a decision on what to do college-wise. She says, "All of my friends are in a place right now where they're trying to figure out what they want to be, and what they're going to do in their lives, and I'm kind of in the same place. I'm just trying to figure out what's important."

Although she has now decided to wait another year before heading off to college, Cosgrove fans will be happy to hear that she is using this time to film a fifth (and perhaps final) season of Nickelodeon's 'iCarly.' What do you think about Cosgrove's decision? Do you think she is making the right choice for herself?
