For those of you were waiting to hear Monica's seventh LP 'New Life,' well, we have some sad news to report. The R&B songbird has postpone the album's release date that was originally scheduled for Nov. 7. As of now, the collection is on hold until 2012.

The 'Anything (For You)' singer announced the disappointing news on her Twitter page. "I wanna thank u for your love, dedication & support," she tweeted. "RCA & I are restructuring the entire plan for the album & the entire movement."

Monica's announcement comes a month after RCA shut down her label, J Records, as well as Arista and Jive Records in a cost-cutting move by new label executives. So this probably affected Monica's project, as well other artists on RCA's roster.

Despite the setback, Monica assured fans that her album will eventually come out for everyone to hear. "All is STILL IN MOTION...❤I Love u guys," she tweeted. "NEW LIFE coming soon, pls continue to request Until It's Gone at radio & video outlets..Be Blessed."
