No. 2: Gnarls Barkley, ‘Crazy’ (2006)
'Star Wars' never looked so cool! Before Cee Lo Green was judging contestants on 'The Voice' and telling past lovers "f--k you," he was famous for being the frontman of Gnarls Barkley. Dressed as Darth Vader and backed by a band of pilots from the Rogue Squadron as well as a Stormtrooper, Cee Lo (and his Gnarls Barkely cohort Danger Mouse) delivered a soulful MTV Movie Award performance. It might not have boosted the sales for the 'Star Wars' franchise, but it most definitely boosted the bands career.
