Utah natives Neon Trees are waiting for 'Your Surrender' on their new single. It's the third track to be released from their 2010 debut full-length album 'Habits,' following the No. 1 alternative hit 'Animal' and '1983.'

Speaking of 1983, the sunny, percolating indie-rock guitar of 'Your Surrender' is going to take older listeners right back to those times. It's easy to picture this song playing under the opening credits of any John Cusack coming-of-age movie. It's even got the big, reverbed, anthemic "just the drums and vocals" chorus near the end, as lead singer Tyler Glenn begs his intended lover to finally give in:

"Oh how long till your surrender / Oh how long till your surrender / It's a long way for heartbreak / Let your heart wait and bleed / Oh how long till your surrender to me?"

Neon Trees, who got their big break opening for fellow sorta-rockers the Killers a couple of years ago, just got done headlining a show at SXSW, and will soon be touring across the country again in support of 'Habits'
