October 2012 is almost here, which means Halloween is just around the corner. While we're excited to collect bags full of candy at the end of the month, we're also pretty stoked to hear the new music releases for October 2012. Some pretty exciting debuts are hitting the shelves this month, and we're so looking forward to hearing what some of these pop stars have in store.

While there are a bunch of new music releases to get excited about, the most anticipated album this month is Taylor Swift's 'Red.' Ms. Swift has been topping the charts with her single 'We are Never Ever Getting Back Together,' and we're expecting her album to be the No. 1 album of the fall season.

Another talked-about release comes from Ellie Goulding, who will drop her new album 'Halcyon' on October 8. Since Goulding's single 'Lights' really blew up on the charts this summer, we can't wait to hear some of the other tracks from this Brit.

Other releases surfacing this month include Cody Simpson's 'Paradise,' Cher Lloyd's 'Sticks and Stones' and Calvin Harris' '18 Months.' Check out the new releases for October 2012 below and leave us a comment to let us know which album you are most looking forward to!
