Nicki Minaj Says ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ Album Will Arrive in April
Heartbreaking news Nicki Minaj fans. The Harajuku Barbie has postponed the release date for her second LP 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.' Originally scheduled for Valentine's Day, the album is now set to drop in April.
Minaj informed her Barbz about the new release date via her Twitter. 'New Album Date: April 3rd. Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED. But have no fear. Tons of surprises before then ; ). Love Always, HB," she tweeted.
The 'Super Bass' rapper has plenty of surprises up her sleeves. First, she wowed us on Friday (Jan. 20) with the premiere of her new video for 'Stupid H--.'
In the colorful clip, Minaj is in full Barbie mode with fluorescent make-up and a wide array of wigs and outfits that would make a drag queen jealous. Some of the more titillating scenes features Minaj as a painted leopard prowling around in a cage. The visually-stunning video, which garnered a whopping 2.5 million views in just 24 hours, should hold her fans' attention until the album drops.
Other upcoming surprises Minaj has in store for her fans include filming a video for 'Turn Me On' her collaborative song with French producer/DJ David Guetta. And although it hasn't been confirmed, Minaj hinted on 'Stupid H--' that she will join Madonna during her halftime show at Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5. Then the following week, the rapper will grace the stage at the 54th annual Grammy Awards.
Overall, it's going to get crazy stupid in the next few months thanks to Nicki Minaj. Get ready!
