Good news for Paramore paramours. The band is close to finishing writing for their next record!

Lead singer Hayley Williams posted an excited entry on the band's blog dishing on the new album and giving a bit of a time table for when it'll be done.

"We're only about two weeks away from actually putting music to tape," Williams wrote. "No, we aren't recording this album analog but hopefully you'll understand the expression," she added. "We've already gone through all the songs that we have hoped would make it this far and they -- about 19 -- of them are ready to be recorded," Williams gushed. "This doesn't mean that we are going to have that many tracks on the album," she explained, "but it does mean that for the first time in the history of our band, we are going to record more than we actually need for an album and end up with more than a few extra tracks to play around with after the fact. It's really been a fun process for us."

Williams told fans more about working with Beck bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen. "By now, you know our producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen is fully involved with every part of this process," she said. "We spent a week jamming out a handful of songs a day with him and even wrote a few parts to songs with him that were missing or that just needed extra care."

That doesn't mean, though, that the album will be out before 2013. “We cannot assure you it will be out this year,” Williams told fans in April. Still, the penning process is coming to a close.

"I only have one more chorus worth of lyrics to write before I'm done," Williams said. "We started writing these songs about a year ago... I can't believe it's all about to happen!"
