Grammy-nominated and globally revered DJ Paul Van Dyk will return to Coachella this April, performing on Saturday, April 16. Since Van Dyk is gearing up to release his new album 'Evolution' this summer, fans and festival goers will be able to experience and witness the brand new concept that Van Dyk has designed and will employ on his upcoming tour in support of 'Evolution.' Therefore, PvD’s Coachella appearance is so much more than just another festival gig -- it's an unveiling!

To further enhance his Coachella performance, Van Dyk hired an award-winning festival stage designer and light artist who has worked with luminaries like Muse and Kanye West to create an arresting visual element to accompany and complement his aural output. Van Dyk and his crew have even road-tested key pieces of the presentation, including at a sold out gig at NYC’s Terminal 5. The entire setting will be unveiled in full at Coachella.

“I am working together with some amazing people, doing stage design and light design, " Van Dyk says. "I came to them with the idea of actually going through those different phases of evolution. These days you see a lot of DJs that are just touring with impressive video screens and stuff like that. I wanted something more; I wanted to actually have something that really emphasizes the evening."

If you are on your way to Coachella this month, be sure and catch Van Dyk's set, which will be so much more than impressive images on video screens.
