Since our job is to report on the day-to-day excursions of Rihanna's 777 Tour, we should be focusing on her stellar performances, such as the one in Berlin. After all, she was sexified and sweaty -- wearing a mesh tank (which displayed her affection for cannabis) and an over-sized men's suit shirt, but not much else. "It is so hot in here," she exclaimed after performing 'S&M.' "How you say hot in German -- 'heiß'"? she says, pronouncing it like "ice." She pauses. "Isn't that a coincidence?"

The problem is, this gig in particular (held at the infamous techno club E-Werk) was overshadowed by mere hysteria. Day 5 and the 150 journalists have developed cabin fever; we are consistently behind schedule, standing in lines, checking in to hotels and airports, and sitting on planes and buses. We camped out for five hours at a Berlin warehouse that was formerly an electrical substation, listening to the same set list we've heard everyday since Wednesday and wondering if Rihanna is ever going to make another appearance on the plane. (For the record, we have not seen her since Mexico City.) Don't get us wrong, we realize what an amazing opportunity this is to travel to seven countries with one of the biggest pop stars in the world. But at some point, the three hours of sleep a night just doesn't cut it. And as a result we all reached a breaking point, which erupted on the 777 Boeing en route to London.

After boarding the plane around 3AM, we noticed people were becoming restless. Alcohol was being consumed, snacks were divied, and people let loose. People in the back of the plane started chanting Rihanna's name and emulating Lil Jon ("Shots! Shots! Shots!). We overheard that some journalists in the section in front of us were chanting "B Roll" as well as “save our jobs” and “just one headline." Trending hashtags followed suit with slogans like #FreeTheRihanna150 and #WhereHaveYouBeenAllThisFlight.

This is getting crazy, we thought.

Then one of the Australian radio DJs decided to STREAK THE PLANE, and we all went wild. It was impulsive, and according to him, not a big deal down under. He even considered making his way up to the front to surprise RiRi, but was worried about her security tackling him. (Have you seen Rihanna's bodyguards??)

At the end of the day, we still did not see RiRi. Instead, we watched the sun rise while riding two and a half hours on the bus to our London hotel, where we hope to catch a few hours of sleep before we watch her perform tonight in London in front of 2300 people. We can't even conceptualize attending RiRi's Westfield tree lighting ceremony beforehand -- we're too burnt out.

To be clear, we are not neglecting the hard work put in by the label reps, airline staff and even the trip coordinator (YoungJets) who are responsible for executing this crazy excursion. We even chatted with YoungJets CEO David Young in Berlin, who organized and coordinated the entire trip -- and are humbled by his day-to-day execution. We're just beginning to wonder if this 777 Tour idea is just too big of a thing.

We've got two cities left: London and New York.
