Rihanna has a big night ahead of her at the 2013 American Music Awards. In addition to performing at the award show, she will also be receiving the very first AMA Icon Award.

"The first-ever Icon Award was created to honor an artist whose body of work has made a profound influence over pop music on a global level. Rihanna's iconic and innovative sound has enabled her to become one of the most influential and best-selling artists of all time," announced producer Larry Klein.

Icon-worthy people are apparently also people who have enough dosh to drop $100K at strip clubs with their exes. Just sayin'!

As previously announced, the show will be hosted by Pitbull, with performances by Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Jennifer Lopez, One Direction, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, TLCMacklemore and Ryan Lewis and more.

You can catch the AMAs on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8PM over on ABC.
