Rihanna and Chris Brown Reconnect on Twitter, RiRi Initiates

On Friday, May 13, Rihanna started a Twitter frenzy by following her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on the social media site. Brown quickly responded and began following Rihanna as well, causing some of her fans to raise questions of concern.

Rihanna's fans immediately began raising their eyebrows as to why she started following the 'Look at Me Now' hitmaker on Twitter. One fan wrote, "I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls." Rihanna promptly answered the tweet, saying, "it's f------- twitter, not the alter! calm down."

For two years now, the 'California King Bed' songstress hasn't had much contact with Breezy, following his assault on her before the 2009 Grammys. However, her Twitter outreach didn't come out of the blue either. In February, she gave the courts permission to soften his restraining order so that he is not barred from attending the same award shows as RiRi.

Rihanna is currently out on tour and she also just signed on to be the face of Vita Coco coconut water. Brown is also keeping busy, leaking new tracks from his upcoming album and preparing for his video shoot for 'Next 2 You' with Justin Bieber.
