Rihanna Responds to Royce Da 5’9″

After demolishing the Shady 2.0 cypher at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, Royce da 5'9" famous line, "Hi, Rihanna," became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. Followers on the social-networking website began tweeting "Hi Rihanna" with the hopes that the pop songbird would reply back. Even Russell Simmons tweeted a greeting. RiRi eventually responded to Nickle Nine on her Twitter account.

The 'We Found Love' singer simply tweeted, "Hi @Royceda59" to the Detroit rapper. She must have been impressed as we were of his lyrical freestyle session.

On Wednesday, Royce appeared on BET's '106 & Park' to explain his now infamous line. The 'Lighters' rapper said he met Rihanna backstage at the V Festival this past summer where she told him that she liked one of his songs. "I told her, if you tell me that again, then we have to go together," he recalls. "I express myself in my music. So I thought it would be a line, I didn't know it would be a trending topic."

Do we see a relationship poppin' off here? They look like a good couple, so we are not mad at them.
